Product Description Soar through your busy appointment schedule, safely navigate contact and to-do lists, and manage your day-to-day affairs efficiently and easily with the most successful new electronic product in history, the PalmPilot. Whether you've just bought one of these indispensable little handheld computers or you're still shopping the market for the right machine to suit your own needs, you'll find all the tips and tricks you'll need packed inside PalmPilot pro Bill Dyszel's PalmPilot For Dummies. Nothing is especially difficult about using a PalmPilot (or a similar handheld device from IBM or another manufacturer), but PalmPilot and other such devices contain many features and options that aren't always obvious to the casual user. After you master all the funny little doodads and whatnots on the outside of your PalmPilot, you can start to use the personal information manager, the Memo Pad, the computer, and Internet connection tools. And you can even find out about upgrading your PalmPilot or find out about the right software add-ons. Stylishly accessorize your PalmPilot and grab a few goodies from the bonus CD-ROM that comes with PalmPilot For Dummies, including Jfile, the leading database program for the PalmPilot, and other cool utilities and add-ons for business or pleasure.

| Customer Reviews: Not as comprehensive as other guides on topic April 5, 1999 33 out of 37 found this review helpful
This is a reasonably good book with handy tips not covered in other guides to Palm / Pilot handhelds but it is not the best guide if you are buying only one.
