Good basic guide to the Droid April 12, 2010 Michael Brochstein (New York, NY) 10 out of 11 found this review helpful
Good breadth but not huge depth. Any more depth and this would not be a "pocket guide". Well written, easy to understand and worth the money even though the Droid comes with its own free user guide (which you can also get online as a downloadable PDF). If you are looking for an in-depth guide to the Droid and/or the Android operating system then this is not the appropriate book for you.
Easy to use guide June 29, 2010 Tinkerbell377 (Seattle, WA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
The manual that comes with the Droid is pretty much worthless, but the Droid for Dummies is TO much. The Droid Pocket Guide takes you thru the basics of everday use, the things that you need to get started and build from there. I would recommend this guide for anyone looking for enough info to learn the features of a great phone without all the excess info. If you like LOTS of info this may not be the guide for you.
Fantastic! April 15, 2010 M 5 out of 7 found this review helpful
If you own a Droid, you need this book. It covers many, many topics I wasn't even aware of. Unlocked the full potential of my Droid in no time. Would have been hopelessly lost without it. Buy this guide! You will not regret it!
Not a bad book May 1, 2010 Frank (San Diego) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I was hoping to find some cool secrets regarding the Moto Droid in the book. However, the book is basically an owners manual that you are paying for. The Droid is very intuitive and easy to figure it out with out a manual. Plus the Droid is better than the iPhone in many ways. The book will in lighten you on a few issues so bottom line it is not a bad purchase.

This provides a quick index for finding how to do stuff on the droid. Much better then doc provided with phone.
